Cumbria Organics: Local organic, seasonal veg is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint even further. Click on the

Eat Seasonal Food: Eating only food that is in season is one of the best ways to lower your food footprint. Food that
is grown out of season is usually flown in or produced in heated greenhouses creating lots of greenhouse gas emissions in

Growing Well: Growing Well is a wholly independent non profit making company for the benefit of the community based in
kendal. Last year they began selling 'cropshares' to the public - a way for the public to support what Growing Well do and also
to receive weekly organic veg. Members can also offer to volunter and help with the growing process. For more details of the
